I spent my Friday at Disney's California Adventure yesterday with my family. I got new purple ears - and I honestly think it's safe to say that I have gotten myself obsessed with all things Disney.
Goofy was the conductor during a water show they held during lunch. It was seriously so amazing - I bet the World of Color they have at night would be so much cooler, but my parents had a dinner to go to, sadly.
After Goofy's show, he was standing by the side so people could get photos with him. When it was my turn, I had asked him to hug me in the photo and he ended up suffocating me instead!

Goofy Adventures
I finally made use of my annual pass and spent the day at Disneyland and California Adventure with my friend, Stephanie. We got to the park thirty minutes after they opened - and it was amazing. Plus, it's a school day so the park wasn't as packed!
We rode on several rides and I'm pretty I've lost my voice from all the screaming. That, and we got to take a couple of pictures with characters!!!! Peter Pan wasn't around though and that made me really sad. I was close to getting a photo with Captain Hook but he was getting ready to leave for his break :(
We park-hopped and went to California Adventure to get ice cream and ride the California Screamin'. My friend cried after that ride even if she told me she liked it!! *insert laughter*
I had an absolute amazing time. And I'm headed to California Adventure again this weekend. Gotta love having an annual pass :D
Disneyland, California Adventure ♡
Last Sunday, on my cousin's last day here in California, we made a trip to the Huntington Library and Gardens. I've only been here twice in the past two years, and the place seems even more beautiful than the last time. The Huntington practically has everything - from an art exhibit, to a library to a Shakespeare garden.
(Note to self: My wedding will be held in the Shakespeare Garden in the not-so, yet slightly distant future.)
I didn't really get to take much photos because we only spent two hours around the place - and you definitely need an entire day in order to take in everything.
In other news, it's the PGA Championships this weekend and Adam Scott is currently -7 for the first two rounds. Fingers crossed he ends up winning (or I will forever rage at Jason Dufner).

I am officially back on this blog after neglecting it for so long! (Let us all blame Dinah/asleepykat for pressuring me into making such a decision). Now, let's get to business!
Last week, my family and I went out of the state for a week long trip. The original plan was to check into a hotel in Oregon, but six hours into the trip, and my parents decided that it was more convenient to drive straight to Washington. We actually didn't get to the hotel until two in the morning, wherein we all just crashed the moment we reached the room. It was a really pretty city, but unfortunately, we had a different hotel to check into. So it was another three hours on the road!
We met up with my cousins and family in Seattle, WA. They had driven down from Canada so it was pretty exciting to see them. Washington is actually such a beautiful state. It's surrounded by trees (hence being called "The Eevergreen State") and lakes.
We stayed at a hotel in a little city called Wenatchee. The next day, we headed off to Lake Chelan to enjoy some time in the sun. My parents rented a pontoon and a jetski, which we had for a good eight hours of the day. Lake Chelan was extremely beautiful, and really left me speechless. Not to mention - the guys in the area *whistle*
On the way home from the lake, we stopped by a little German city called, Leavenworth, where we grabbed dinner. This place was really adorable because every single building was made to look like it had come straight from Germany. And the shops also had a German theme going on.
We then traveled back to Oregon the day after and stayed in Portland for a night. While in Portland, we went to Cartopia and Voodoo Doughnuts. Cartopia is basically a bunch of food trucks just lined up in one area, and apparently it was a 'local' thing. Voodoo Doughnuts was cool, but I prefer my regular glazed doughnuts any day. We headed to Eugene the next day where we spent the last night of our trip. My parents actually bought me quite a few things on this trip (will post later on) and this was just a really great trip.
On Monday, it was time to say goodbye to Oregon. Before we left, we had a really good breakfast at IHOP. For lunch, we had already entered back into California so we ate at a local restaurant in Mt. Shasta. However, we found out that we were only five minutes away from Lake Siskiyou. After lunch, we stopped by the lake and took a bunch of photos before we went back on the road.
GREAT isn't enough to describe this trip. I've been in love with the state of Oregon since 2011 and to be back in the place was just breathtaking - it seemed more beautiful the second time. Also, I've added Washington into my little list of "possible states to move to". Sigh, if I could relive this trip, I probably would.
